UBD Taekwondo

To all interested in taking up a martial art, why not join Taekwondo! A martial art from Korea, it has a huge following on a global scale.
It's one of the fastest growing martial art sport in Brunei. Basically, Taekwondo involves a lot of kicking. Patterns are also an essential part in Taekwondo.
All you need to join is a Dobok(Taekwondo Uniform) and a strong mental mind. Its a sport that requires 110% effort.
Other than having fun while training, safety is an important issue. ::)

First Aid technichians are always there to provide help when an injury occurs(which unfortunately happens). Oh, a tip to newcomers, SCREAM! :-X

Join UBD Taekwondo!

Location - Girl's hostel
Tuesday - 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday - 5:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday - 5:00pm - 8:00pm

I always see ppl spelling Taekwondo wrong >:(

Isn't Taekwondo spelt T-A-E-K-W-O-N-D-O?

If I made an error in spelling Taekwondo, please clarify.:(
(also written as "tae kwon do", "taekwon-do", "t'aegwondo", or "tae'kwondo")

And what's up with the Spelling of Karate? K-A-R-A-T-E?

[drools]Hmm...spelling!![/drools] To clarify how the actual spelling of taekwondo or karate is, we refer to the native language. And here's how karate spelt in Japanese:

空手（からて）

Back to the topic. How painful is this martial art? I love pain, can't get enough of it.

What's wrong with the spelling of 'Karate'? I don't think I quite understood the question... nvm...

As with the pain, it would differ from one person to the next. I've been doing Karate since I was in form 4 (4th year UBD now) so that would make it err... 8 years?! OMG... I never realised! Anyway, if you're the type of person who pushes yourself, chances are you will feel more strain and pain. If you're more of the relaxed type, you'd survive pretty well without narry a bruise. ^_^

Err... karate is another martial art so I guess it would have some sort of martial artsy connection... really sorry if I pushed the topic err... off topic... *dies*
